I know a lot of us are already signed up, but for those of you who aren't
TL;DR: sign up and link it to wherever you listen to music, last.fm will track it so you can look back later (or years later), follow ya pals, mock their music, find new music - it's a great way to find new artists and songs. I lost my old login so had to make a new one, follow me!

wiki Wrote: Last.fm is a music website founded in the United Kingdom in 2002. Utilizing a music recommender system known as "Audioscrobbler," Last.fm creates a detailed profile of each user's musical preferences by recording the details of the tracks they listen to, whether from Internet radio stations or from the user's computer or portable music devices. This information is transferred ("scrobbled") to Last.fm's database via the music player (including, among others, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, MusicBee, SoundCloud, and Anghami) or through a plug-in installed in the user's music player. The data is then displayed on the user's profile page and compiled to create reference pages for individual artists.
