Hello everyone

Back again for the revival of the GOAT MGS forums. And once again promising I'll be active ._.
I joined back in 2012 and was really only active for a few years before life got really busy, by that I mean I got a job ha

I'll be honest I don't remember alot of my teenage to early 20s life because years of trauma caught up on me and I was in FLIGHT mode, but what I do remember is my time in MGSF and seeing all these names again are kinda bittersweet. So in the 10 years I've been away I'm now in my 30s with two kids.

I remember joining back in the day because I had no one to info dump metal gear stuff too, and I tried to again with my husband in the last year after replaying Death Stranding again and he's all "I love you but please find your internet friends again" and I got a message out of the blue and here I am -roy-

I have a vivid memory of declaring that on the old forums MGS3 was the greatest game of all time, and dying on that hill, but maturing made me realise MGS2 is far superior and I was not complex enough to understand what a masterpiece it was back then HA

It's lovely to be around again, I promise I'll stick around this time c:

To give him credit, he has to hear it every time I go down the rabbit hole where I replay them so hes sitting like this while I talk. 

He's a trooper.
He's played 2, 3 and 5 so he's vaguely familiar with the story anyway. He just needs a masterclass every now and then.

I go through the exact same thing w my partner regularly, they're not a big video game enjoyer. I recently found my ancient (and apparently rare??) copy of the MGS4 novelization and they were like "Hey I'll read that, I want to connect with your interests" and I was like "...You don't want to read that."

The fact any of you can even talk to your partners about MGS should be enough for you. When I was most recently playing MGS1 Leelee just laughed at the dialogue and voice acting.
