I think Dirty Duck was the one who referred me back to this site and I wanna thank him for that.
It's been... what? 12 years? I was like, 17 or 18 when I joined in 2012 and now I'm 30.
I have a lot of fond memories of this place and everyone in it. I was homeschooled at the time so it was a good place to banter and meet new folks. (Or just to have friends at all).
I'll be honest, i haven't been big into Metal Gear Solid in ages (but it of course still holds an indelible place in thy heart. Peace Walker and Sons of Liberty in particular are in my thoughts all the time).
I'll do a quick rundown of my life since I left....
● 2014:
• I stopped being a Jehovah's Witness.
• got kicked out of the house for it,
•lived with my bio mother for a minute til it got abusive,
•fell in love with my warhouse coworker,
•lost virginity, first kiss, blah blah blah
●2015:
•moved to omaha w/friend
•got a job at an arena
•that's kinda it honestly
●2016
•nothing burger of a year aside from harambe, the election and work drama
•went clubbing on 10/2. Met future adoptive mom
●2017
•realized I was trans mtf
●2018
•came out as trans, started hormones, etc
•got kinda adopted by some friends parents? (Long story. Remember the adoptive mom from 2016??)
●2019
•had a bunch of side jobs
●2020
•lost theater job
•started living alone, then with coworkers
•bio mom died
•got covies
•dated a witch didn't really work cause her husband wasn't as cool with it
•became a mega stoner
●2021
•moved in with another coworker
•got promoted to security coordinator at arena
●2022
•started living in car 6/28/2022
•took a 23 day vow of sil3nce (that was interesting. Everyone thought i was deaf).
•took transcendental meditation a lil tooo seriously, lol
•got in a really bad car accident
•got new car to live in
●2023
•started getting tattoos
•saw Stop Making Sense like 7 times in theaters
•experienced horrific limerence on a coworker, would not reccomend.
•volunteered at a homeless shelter and didn't post about it on social media (...until now)
●2024
•Reconnected with the witch from 2020 and lived with her and her husband for a month when it was blizzarding. We all became good friends 🧡
•got kinda obsessed with astrology
•blocked my bio father and adoptive mom for the usual cliche reasons.
●2025
• a hot mess of a year so far, lol. But at least I got to be here again. ✌🏻
• I'm mostly just foccused on this art project of mine called Only Forever. Been tinkering on it every other day since 2012. (It's basically a hodgepodge of all the stories i made up as a kid into a single, giant story). I'm hoping to make it a motion comic with animated segments (it's the kind of project you spend your whole life on and never finish cause that's just what my brain wants. An endless supply of rituals, lol). Will definitely need to find voice actors at some point. It's really just an excuse to document dreams, bring friends together, honor life and all that smultzy jazz.
I'll try and post some of the promo art below:it should be there but if not (I tried).
But I digress.
It's good to be back and to see you all again! And I wanna make a habit of visiting at least once a day to stay in touch. Forgive me, but I actually forgot some of you. (Blame the weed). The names and avatars are familiar but they don't always ring a bell.
Respectfully,
Strangelove (real name is artemis tho)
Cannot begin to describe how happy I am to see you around.

Good to see you again, dude. Also, that art piece you attached to the summary really is striking. It feels like something that could be the cover of a book and would immediately draw eyes straight away. It's a really cool piece.

Welcome back Strangelove! Glad to have found you. Looked like you were gone without a trace for a second.
I now have an account named HedorahTheExplorer on the Monsterland Forums made as part of the search for you. Thought maybe you’d enjoy that.

It's amazing to have you here and it genuinely made me squeal inside to your name as the newest member to sign up. You've been mentioned a fair bit between members and I know I'm not the only one delighted to see you, as you're about to bear witness to. That's very nice to hear, Wayno. Thank you.
I'm not sure if it was you but I think we talked about the Arctic Monkeys way back when and I still think about it from time to time.

Your life seems to have been eventful! That art looks great to boot!
I hope you'll stick around. Thank you, Black King! When I would remember you I would remember you as being incredibly friendly and supportive, even during all the org wars.
I hope you have been well!
