I accidentally knocked off the banners at the top of the page with the links for supporting the forum or inviting people, is there a way to get them back?

I think once dismissed they’re gone as they’re only announcement bars rather than permanent fixtures. If you need the link to the Ko-fi you can find it on the MGF Gray theme (https://ko-fi.com/metalgearforums). If you need to see the recruitment page you can access it from the User CP. it’s in the bar to the left at the bottom under “basic pages” (https://metalgearforums.com/pages.php?page=recruitment).

Not sure whether to call this an error or not but whenever I post, it appears like this immediately after posting. It's fine if I leave the page and come back.

It’s an error but like you say it’s not too invasive. It’s basically caused because of Ghost Babel using a horizontal display for the postbit which is better for mobile while the forum default is the vertical version we’re used to from MGSF. When you quick post it seemingly ignores the setting for the new post until you load the page again.

If I can fix it I will but it’s low priority!

Don't worry it's not a complaint (actually none of these are), just pointing it out to you so you know!

While I'm at it, when I tag people it seems I can't take the @ away, it has to stay displayed in the post next to the name.

With it: Dirty Duck
Without it: "Dirty Duck"

An annoying request Dirty Duck (I told you I'd think of something): is there any possibility of having like a 2-3 minute window after making a post of being able to edit it without having the "USER EDITED THIS POST THIS STUPID FUCK CANT SPELL LOLOLOL" above it? I hate to ask but my desire for clean-looking posts leaves me caught between a rock and a hard place.
