I'm not quite sure how much I'm liking the procurement on site setup. It definitely is a nice change at times but I would like modes later on that were like MGO2 were everyone has a set batch of weapons to choose from. This is far better than giving higher level players better weaponry and items from the go of course and can help level the playing field for newbies, but if you pick up a high level weapon or a bunch of the upgrade items early in a match (especially if it's a tranquiliser weapon) it's very hard to be stopped.

I do actually like the OSP mechanic. It feels good to be able to decide to prep and try and get a good item from a supply crate rather than rush to the target or enter an immediate gunfight. I do think it maybe needs balancing. Maybe weapon upgrades should be the only way to get highest level weapons, rather than someone just finessing one immediately and steamrolling. Although them dropping the weapon when killed does mean it's not like that's them necessarily sorted for the rest of the match.
The tranq weapons so obviously need rebalancing-or there should at the very least be an item to counter the insta knock out (I guess rations but when you use stamina to find people that doesn't help)

This game needs a solo mode and it needs it fast. A 1v2 situation is just so lopsided in this, (and it comes down to that a lot. Especially in random matchmaking where it essentially feels like solo play anyway a lot of the time) especially in the Kerotan mode as the moment they both have a kerotan they obviously just stick together and gun you down whenever you try to get close or sneak up. When you die you lose any gear that might have given you an edge too so you have to try again even less equipped to deal with the situation. At least in the GA-KO mode you can hopefully crawl in unnoticed and have the benefit of potentially surprising them once overtime begins but Kerotan they can just pick a spot where there's no sneaking up on them or run around constantly. I actually think the Kerotan mode is significantly worse than the GA-KO one in general.
Also CQC and knifing is just terrible in this. Here's a stellar interaction I had earlier today:
Managing to sneak up on somebody and do CQC should feel rewarding. Instead it's just a clusterfuck that leaves you in a position that feels a bit awkward to follow-up from-especially with the knife.

Had a pretty wild game with an even wilder ending. Final round had 4 players all on separate teams so nobody had any advantages by doubling up which made for a really fun finish with everyone going all out for the win. I have a lot of gripes with Fox Hunt but it does have some fun points too, I just wish we had more room for moments like this regularly. Hopefully we get modes soon either with no teams or with bigger teams.
