Despite it just being a scripted sequence that doesn’t utilise any of V’s gameplay mechanics I do have to agree. The excitement of playing that for the first time was immense and has been an enduring memory of the game.

I do actually like the Quiet boss fight. It feels the closest to a real boss fight the game has and I liked how you can use the game’s systems to tackle it very differently to using a sniper if you wanted. Plus I just think it’s mad that you are allowed to just kill her. Listening to revenge fuelled Miller’s suggestion costs you a powerful ally and a whole lot of the game is lesser for her absence. Works with the themes really nicely.

Dirty Duck Are there really any other ways of defeating her besides sniper rifles and supply drops? I don't think CQC worked on her and other firearms weren't as effective

You can still sneak up on her and knock her out with kicks provided she doesn’t see you at all. Once she’s seen you she’ll hear you approaching before you can get close enough and will move. You can use the rocket punch as well or can shoot out the support columns of ruins she’s camping out in so that they collapse on top of her.
You can destroy the columns?! I don't remember this game having destructible objects like that. I ought to to try defeating her this way. Also, do the Anubis hand and Decoy Snakes work on her too?
