What's your favourite MGS ending/vocal theme? The Best Is Yet To Come has always been my favourite, I feel like it is the perfect ending to my favourite game of all time. But I'll admit that Can't Say Goodbye To Yesterday has become a favourite of mine over the years as well, especially given the thematic nature of MGS2 and its ending.

I'm a big fan of them all but I'd be lying if I said this little ditty wasn't in my head the most. It being in Smash Bros. has always made me super happy. Playing Brawl and Portable Ops with my friend who lived two doors down from me made this theme a #certifiedhoodclassic

The Best Is Yet To Come has my vote, feels like a true tearjerker - there's something so ethereal about it (and I've no doubt that part of that is due to the fact that I have next to no knowledge of Gaelic) with the vocals, the instrumentation and that mystery which comes at the end of MGS1 of "What's going to happen to Snake next?"
Of course, the real answer though is this:

So tough. The Best is Yet To Come is probably in my #1 spot, nothing hits like that does. But to me it also ties with Snake Eater, I mean come on. It's badass, it's sexy, and still has some of that trademark Kojima melodrama that he's so good at.
But for all of Peace Walker's flat-on-its-face fuckups, I cannot deny that Heavens Divide is a banger. If MGS was a proper anime, this is what I imagine the ending theme for each episode would be.

The Best is Yet to Come is the most iconic for me, although I'll admit Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday and Snake Eater are both great.
I'll also give a shoutout to Way to Fall from MGS3 and to Here's to You from MGS4.
