DS2, especially with the three DLCs, does take an age to beat.

I have SotFS on Steam and it's just... Agony. It's my understanding that SotFS changes up a lot of enemy placements to make them irritating and difficult on purpose (the way they made the Shaded Woods an absolute slog comes to mind) and I think I'd be more inclined to finish if I had a copy of the original release.
