Just beat Ocelot. The new aiming definitely makes him a lot easier. I also forgot Kerotan and GA-KO appear during boss fights so I’ve now reloaded an earlier save. Oops lol

I’ve accidentally caused the death of a couple of guards by knocking them into electric fences or having them fall into a swamp but the game doesn’t seem to count it as a kill. Was that always the case?

Going back to get the Kerotan and GA-KO took me ages as I then realised the thing exploding when CQCing a guard the area before was a film canister. It’s a good challenge not being able to CQC. Does everything besides a raw hold up destroy them?



Wish they didn’t make us wait to beat the game before we can view it. I know the story!!

Couldn't you have bumped into him to walk past him or does it completely throw off the hold-up?

Any direct contact between Snake and the guards will destroy the film reel. Any damage done to the guard will destroy the film reel. Distractions such as books are fine. They can touch Snake while he's using a fake death pill and it will not destroy the film reel. Be careful with where you hold them up - if you cannot maneuver Snake in front of them to point the weapon at their head or crotch without bumping into them, don't try it. One little bump and you've lost.

Yeah I wasn’t actually aware of the extent of this but I knew I didn’t want to risk it. For some reason I’d come to him last out of all the soldiers in the area meaning if I messed it up I’d have to redo the whole song and dance of getting equipment from them all.
