Also if the vibe of the first two is more your thing there's a good chance you might like the parent series Shin Megami Tensei which currently has two mainline entries which are playable on modern consoles: Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.


(Dante from Devil May Cry is in this video but on modern consoles it's a Shin Megami Tensei character instead (like it was in the Japanese release) but if you want Dante a DLC pack puts him back lol)

Shin megami tensei III was something I was considering getting a while ago but forgot about, thanks for reminding me, I might actually pick it up this time
