WHAT??? Hideo Kojima acting extremely horny, and being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to project that horniness to a global audience??? Unheard of. Not in my family friendly stealth action game. Joking aside, yeah he's a horny little goblin of a game developer, you're 100% on target. It's pretty common throughout his work, and by the time of MGSV a lot of people were starting to sour on his use of sexuality.

Sexuality as a concept in a piece of media isn't inherently a bad thing, but Koj is a completely goon-brained freak about it. We were discussing over in Org Chat the other day how he just reposts erotic anime art on Twitter completely unapologetically.

I think the thing that proves it's bullshit is that while human photosynthesis has been established as canon in the MGS Universe (The End), even an old man who is basically dead manages it while dressed in army fatigues.

Came here to say the same as this. There are lots of supernatural elements to the MGS series but the End manages to photosynthesise through full army fatigues. He’s basically a skeleton so obviously he can’t be running around butt naked in the woods because he’s not a big beautiful booby woman.

But now I think about it, could you imagine how much more terrifying that boss fight would be if the End was in a bikini?? 

I should petition this for the remake, accurate to the canon!

Fuck that, it's 2025, if Kojima is going to force all of us to gaze upon Quiet's jiggle physics, we should get The End fully nude. Full frontal, no details spared. Just a rotund, entirely naked and ancient Slavic man running around the jungle with a sniper rifle. This is what the people crave, Hideo.

I hope they bring back the movie theatre just to recreate this scene in 4k
