I feel sure like I remember Kojima saying not long after either the "you will be ashamed of your words and deeds" thing or release that he designed Quiet like that because he wanted people to cosplay as her more as well helping to sell merchandise/figures of her. Think it says enough about it. I really liked her design with the XOF suit, I think it is actually one of the best combat suits we've seen in the series so it was great getting that. I've been replaying MGS4 recently and honestly think overall that is far worse for sexualisation than V, but that's probably because it's all focused on one character in V. But it's obviously an exceptional case and I feel like MGS4 in particular had sown the seeds for the mess that was Quiet.
