I think I disagree? MGSV feels unfinished to me. Maybe I'd prefer that to the MGS4 method of using 'Nanomachines' to explain everything single unresolved plot point, but MGSV doesn't conclude - it just stops.

Kojima had used David Hayter for the very end, when you meet real Big Boss on the bike. Of course, this would've necessitated keeping him for GZ before switching to Jack Bauer in Phantom Pain. But it still would've been incredible if they'd done that. C'est la vie I guess.

Yeah It was one his only screwups that wasn't related to Konami's interference. Kiefer Sutherland was nowhere near as good Hayter and he's not that famous either.
