Going to sound like a profound hater but this news actually sort of disappointed me on a purely selfish level. With the exception of I'll Keep Coming (which was a really great moment in the game and is a good song) I found the Low Roar music very dull after a while. I just personally found a fair amount of Death Stranding's soundtrack felt quite drab and out of sync with the game's 80s synth inspired score.
That being said the untimely death of the lead singer was tragic and this is definitely a beautiful thing. The influence the band clearly had on Kojima when it came to Death Stranding cannot be disputed and it's touching to see Ryan's legacy as an artist persist beyond his death in such a full circle way.
