Potential spoiler / hint, I'm sure I tried this word earlier in the run and it wasn't recognised at the time.

I had the same thing hence my struggle on this (yet for some reason I still tried it), I figured

names weren't allowed? Although I don't really fully know the ins and outs of how Wordle works so maybe it is just down to the creator? I could have sworn FAMAS was one of the early ones so maybe it is that.
