This must have been what happened, right? Agent as the jock protected whoever the mafia killed and was killed in their place. The mafia was coincidentally trying to frame Agent, presumably not realising they were the jock and therefore the inherent risk in doing that. There's no way the mafia would intentionally choose to kill agent after planting the mask on them.

Well the first situation I described could have happened too, right? Agent could actually have been mafia and Aragorn could have chosen to stay with him, causing mafia to accidentally kill one of their own. We would need him to confirm that but it doesn't seem confirmed to me that Agent was framed yet.

Maybe Aragorn would have said something more though considering it does say he would "witness the whole thing."
