I'm in full agreement with Nate. The first bit in the more remote areas are scarier. I saw several RE references, but honestly if those had been cut it could have still be an ok horror flick with a different name. If I had one criticism

I'd say it's the ending. It doesn't really end it just kinda stops and the credits roll.

Weirdly enough I've seen lots of people having issues wuth the ending but I didn't think it was that abrupt. The whole movie was about his character and their journey to Raccoon City hospital to make the delivery, and by the time he does the infection has taken over and he's seriously mutated. Sets things up for another movie. I know Creggers said he's not doing this or anything else in someone else's universe again (and I don't blame him given what RE fans have proved themselves to be like) but I'm sure someone else will be charged with it. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see a representation of one of the games if this continues to do well but I'm not sure if Capcom would have an issue with that and just want new in-universe stuff.
