I found a good 3/4 of the film to be so horrifically dull, just a whole lot of nothing happening with a shitload of generic science vernacular thrown in for good measure.
I had a conversation with someone just a few hours ago about this lol. This was the first Marvel movie I had seen in an age when it came out, and the first I had seen in theatre since... actually had I seen any Marvel movie in theatre before this? I'm not sure. Anyway, I had a fondness for the old F4 movies and the PS2 game which was probably a bit shit but great fun in co-op so there was that, and I love Ralph Ineson so I wanted to see him as Galactus. But yeah, I saw the positive feedback and reviews so I thought it might be OK but it was incredibly boring. Nothing fun or interesting at all about it for me. I guess this is what the Marvel fanbase has had to endure? If this passed as good-great then I shudder to think of what they were served up for the years before it.
