some of you might remember i used to be way into rune magic and norse stuff but some things started happening around me I couldn't explain and it really kind of freaked me out.  i did what i could to make peace with whatever forces i may have inadvertently been poking at and then just left it as it was from there on.

still though, i remember a lot from those days and it ultimately became a formative part of who i am now.  ill end off this post with a stanza from the poetic edda that i remember by heart.

Fully stocked folds I saw for Fitiung's sons, but now they carry beggar's staffs.  Wealth is like the twinkling of an eye, it is the most unreliable of friends.

Am I allowed to ask for elaboration or is that tempting those fates?
