I've bought it and hopefully I'll put more than the 1 hour I put in to ARC Raiders with it. The positives I've seen in the mixed reception are enough for me to think I'll enjoy it.

Any progress Wayno? I didn't get started on it and at this point I'm starting to think I might just wait a few weeks for some things to settle with it to do so. Quite disappointed by the AI usage too and the lame excuse for its presence which is further putting me off.

OK scratch that. I've seen opinions have picked up from many people. General opinion (which I've seen from critics as well as general players) is that the first 8 hours are at best not good or just flat out bad but things really click for a lot of people after that. I'm about 3 hours in, definitely feel the jank although I actually kind of like it in places? Kliff is boring as fuck and I'm blasting through dialogue but I'm enjoying the bits of exploring I've done so far even though this opening area is small although it does feel dense enough. I'm getting through the main quest only now to get this long tutorial section done and will see how I feel then.
