Meant to ask, who did you all pick as "Charlie's" voice and why? I went with Die-Hardman. Honestly I thought it was a one off thing (just hear his voice this one time try to convince you and that was it) but I only picked it as it liked his voice and performance in DS.

Those of you that finished this, how long did it take you? I'm (somehow) nearing 45 hours and am only at chapter 8! Starting to think I'll never finish it. Probably not helping myself that I've refused to use the DHV Magellan to fast travel.

I'm about 60 hours into DS2 and still on Chapter 8 because I keep taking long breaks from the campaign to do side work. After I heard about the Bokka, I went back to Mexico to start maxing out all the deliveries for clients I left behind or never started like the Artist and am getting so much more useful gear like silence pistols, trekking boots and the like. The game does a really good job of incentivizing you to actively explore and find lost cargo for clients you won't meet on the way normally because each one has been providing really useful tools and weapons that are also really fun to use.

This is one of those games where I'm in absolutely no hurry to reach the finish since everything feeds into itself so well. I wanna see more of the world and rank up with more clients which in turn, helps me become more well equipped for harsher deliveries and gives me more options for stealth and direct combat when fighting enemies.

I'm 50hrs in and only just into chapter 9 myself. Agree completely that it definitely incentives you to go back and do bigger standard orders or lost cargo as some of the stuff you get is so good. I'm actually at 5 stars with the vast majority of clients and it's not necessarily me just being a completionist. Haven't gone back to Mexico yet as I do actually want to finish the game at some stage but maybe down the line I will (although for all I know I'll have to anyway as part of the story at some stage, part of me is expecting it).

Only thing I'll say that is a bit of a problem is that I feel like there is just so much stuff to use that I feel like I'm missing out. I simply can't try and use everything or I literally will never finish the game so I have to pick and choose what I am going to try and what I'm not.

What I appreciate about games like this or MGSV and so on is that a lot of the extra goodies are useful and fun to use, but if you don't use them, you'll still have a good time.  For example, one of the Mexico clients when you start ranking up gives you light weight rifles so you can use more and they take up less space.  Or a powerful pistol for direct combat that has some serious kick but poor fire rate.  Both very useful, but I can also just stick with my regular red rifles or my lightweight shotgun and still get the job done while having a blast doing it.  The game provides plenty of opportunities to experiment and play around, and also, thanks to the VR room, it gives you a means to experiment with any weapon just for fun to see if it's something you want to use in the campaign or not.

Far as delivery tools, pretty much anything I get becomes my new standard.  Once I got my trekking boots, I'm always wearing them when doing deliveries but have stealth and combat boots on my boot hook for when I have to fight.
