I did wonder what would happen. Does she even get to respond or does it just reload? Pretty standard practice to let players see the character just be like “no” and then make them do it anyway but you’d think it would just have Fragile convince him instead of restarting.

It literally just restarts the whole thing lol. It was so weird.

I'm on episode 6 now. The visuals in episode 5 were amazing. I also almost screamed when I found some Scottish people in the game! I'm not going to spoil who though lol.

Have to say falling asleep while playing Death Stranding compared to a football game is quite different, with the latter I can lose a game in an instant, with this I found myself so close to falling off of cliff sides and probably destroying my entire loads!

One very early question but I'll put it in tags anyway:

I did say no the first time to see what would happen.

I thought i'd atleast get a trophy for it or something. What's weirder is:

Spoiler:
I hated the first game but I bought this game. Sure is Death Stranding, but it seems a little more interesting this time around. We'll see how it goes.

Honestly though good on you for giving the sequel a chance! I hope you enjoy it but not at the cost of me enjoying it since I did like the first game as I’m not a massive pleb.

You were gaslit into enjoying an UberEat simulator with unrefined mechanics and a promising world with a nonsensical, indulgent story. In this situation, I have depicted you as the soyjak and I the chad and thus I win the argument.

2 is fun so far. Feels like they've expanded on a few things and there is a neat, hypnotic rhythm to trekking across land and taking weird routes (this post is sponsored by true 3 ladders at all times fans. I have scaled mountains for no reason). Combat feels like it has a bit more to it too, but I wish cover mechanics were more like MGS V.

It is impossible to get anything done in this game because it keeps throwing lost cargo at you right when you’re near the main mission objective

But the thrill of pulling it off! I made a delivery while over the weight limit and it was a throwback to stubbornly refusing to ditch anything from that dungeon in an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game.

I’ve not had a chance to play since release day. I’m desperate!

Weight limit, you say?

I was 190KG here. The walk to the delivery drop off was agonizing.

Same, I'm literally just past the first boss battle.
