Yeah, I wondered why myself but it was supposed to be a plot twist of some kind.

Bottom line, they say if I’m mafia, you are too. If not, you’re not too. If town lynches a townie, I think we practically lost. So, I still think AP is Agent’s comrade trying make both of us look dumb and win in the process (which we are btw because we shot the sheriff and his deputy. @Aragorn

This line of reasoning doesn’t check out. I’m the final girl, and it’s clear cut I haven’t been jumping on mafia trains. You being mafia doesn’t mean I’m mafia. You could be a gossip who’s an accomplice of ghostface very easily, and the string of messages you’ve been sending me are to get buy in to your plan.

You wacking our deputy also makes little sense since he had a clean role claim.

Sorry everyone, was slammed all weekend and missed a lot of crazy shit in here. I'm trying to catch up but genuinely not sure what to make of this. I feel like BB88 is obviously mega sus, but if my memory serves from the old days that's kind of out of character for him as mafia lol. I feel like this is almost too obvious for him to not be a townie trying to be a hero. Wouldn't be the first time a trigger happy townie shot the sheriff...

But also we have basically nothing else to go on, and we've got to be getting close to running out of time at this point. Idk how many mafia there are but surely it's more than 1. Weavo was my top suspect after Agent but turns out that was wrong.

Annoying prick I think is confirmed town more or less.

As for the rest of us, obviously I'm town and am going to claim to be.

Stars, roy, and roger have all been pretty inactive both here and the forums as a whole so there's not really anything to go on. BUT to get really metagamey here for a second, the night phases have been pretty long the last couple days so I would assume the mafia is also fairly inactive...

So probably the safest bet is a random pick from those three. Or me I guess if you're not me and therefore have a reason to suspect me. I'll hold off on starting a random lynch train though for now. Just my 2 cents lol. There's also kind of the obvious choice of just lynching bb and seeing what we learn and then going for the inactives if we're still alive the next day. I just feel like no matter what we do at this point is high risk

@Mr. Tibbs Not sure if you've been able to read everything that has happened (I don't blame you if not) but I really think you should vote to lynch BB88.

My reasoning:

1) Weavo said that he thinks Agent is innocent and is being framed as mafia. He said he used his powers as the Deputy-turned-Sherrif to check Agent in night two and Agent did not have the ghost costume. So the costume was planted on him during night three, the same night he was killed. This is why Weavo wanted to vote for BB88 since it was BB88 who was the most credulously arguing for Agent as mafia.

2) BB88 just killed Weavo in front of us and the mechanism for doing so is totally unclear. He claimed to be the Gossip but the Gossip does not have the ability to do a daytime kill of someone like that. So he is likely lying about his role. He also tried to blame me initially for killing weavo (just check back a couple of pages) and then only resorted to his current argument when Duck made it clear that BB88 was the one that did it. He is now saying that he just happens to have a secret gun that he had all along that isn't listed at all in his role description, and this despite the fact that the flavour text had him stabbing weavo and not shooting him. There would also be no incentive for him to kill weavo if he was town and all it would do was bring suspicion towards him, especially if he genuinely did it through some kind of mystery mechanic. However if he was mafia it would make sense for him to kill weavo if he forgot that he wouldn't be disguised since he put the ghost costume on Agent.

Personally I just can't ignore BB88 and vote for someone else. He killed weavo for no good reason through a mechanic that is totally unexplained via the role he is claiming unlike in Aragorn's case and he can't keep his story straight. He tried to blame me for the killing until that was untenable and he is still insisting that Agent was mafia even though weavo, the confirmed deputy, said he wasn't. I think initially his plan was to kill weavo and blame me (this is his first reaction if you go back a couple of pages, he @s  me saying it was stupid of me to kill weavo so earlier) and then realised he fucked up afterwards.

Then can you explain some things to me.

1) Why is he insisting that Agent was mafia still when weavo said he isn't? Weavo is confirmed deputy now, there's no reason not to trust his judgement on this.

2) How did he kill Weavo as The Gossip? Is there really a magical gun that was undeclared in the rules? And if so why did Duck write in the flavour text that Weavo was stabbed instead of shot?

3) Why did he immediately blame me when weavo died? Please explain this:




Why would a town who accidentally killed an important town role immediately lie and start blaming another person for the killing like this? Why wouldn't they just go "Oh shit, my bad, that was a mistake." It seems a lot like he intended to kill Weavo to frame me. That was literally what he tried to do.

If you are actually town and cannot explain all of these things Aragorn then I would consider whether he has duped you too. But if you can explain it then I am willing to listen. This isn't just an accusation, I am open to hearing the explanation.

Key word is “was”. He is for a fact the gossip, that does not mean he can’t be mafia - and him acting weird about Weavo’s death tells me something doesn’t make sense. I was riding on you being mafia to be honest but Weavo getting shot in the face kind of solidifies him as suspect to me. That or it’s a poor play, but it’s all we’ve got.
