Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Just beat the game this morning. Wow. Might be the most emotionally impactful game I've ever played. Instantly on my list of one of the best RPGs of all time. The story, the cast, the mocap, the combat and abilities. Just everything worked. And the story really hit me like a ton of bricks. The final fight took me a minute to compose myself, so much of what Renoir was saying resonated with me so deeply going through experiences with my wife's family when my godson passed away. The writing was absolutely incredible and they captured the feelings and thoughts so well. Pure art. 10/10

Which ending did you go for?

I did the Verso ending. I have a lot of thoughts about it and the game as a whole. It feels like the right ending and also the one you don't want to do in some ways. I watched the Maelle ending on YT after and I definitely feel like the intention is that the Verso ending is the "right" choice.
