A lot of the positive shift was because of Henry, to his credit. Once he got more active things got more in line.

The big totem pole shift happened in around 2016 when people were like ''wait maybe slurs are bad and women are good'' and it just didn't sit right with a lot of the older members who were still on that 4chan early 2010s internet grind.

I literally had to google that. That probably says quite a lot about my online presence in messageboards/forums etc in the mid 2010s and onward. I've always sorta eschewed that. I wonder if that was one of the reasons I ended up being less active on MGSF.

Guys, I'm down the rabbithole of the latter years of MGSF. There was an outcry that slurs were banned? How the fuck was there a thirty page thread about not being able to say two variants of the n word and a homophobic slur? wtf happened?
