Timeline and events leading up to the beginning of the hospital attack

Right so a question I've always had troubling the avenues of my mind in regards to MgsV is (and bare with me on this potential noobtastic question) the opening of the game. We see ourselves gradually waking up, Ishmael also still in his hospital clothes and then soon after we are attacked by Quiet and then Cypers lot. So what I am wondering is, the medic has just woken up from the surgery to turn him into Venom, has Big Boss just coincidentally woken up at the same time and Cypher has been looking since ground zeros and coincidentally discovered the location of the hospital? I feel like its very possible I missed some details, but if Big Boss had recovered before hand, was he just hiding out at the hospital practicing cqc on the orderlies? And if so for how long? 

My theory is that perhaps the medics transformation and recovery took exactly that long, but big boss had already recovered and planned that once it was the right time he would somehow signal to cypher where the hospital was, but in a way that seemed like they had found it themselves, and plan an escape route for the both of them. He had to stay in order to ensure the medic escaped. Still seems like it raises more questions but interested to see what everyone else thinks.

Ishmael woke up a couple of weeks prior to Ahab. Ishmael waking up triggered a series of events that meant that Ahab's awakening had to be hurried along to get him out safely, and for this reason Ishmael remained in the hospital until Ahab woke up to make sure he got out alive.

Ishmael woke up -> Tretij Rebenok (Psycho Mantis) was flying near the island at this time and psychically felt his presence -> it caused a flare in Mantis' psychokinetic abilities which destroyed the plane -> he was then transported to the same facility housing Volgin's (comatose?) body -> Mantis' felt Volgin's strong hatred towards the man he'd been exposed to earlier (Ishmael) which led to his abilities latching onto Volgin -> This resurrected Volgin as the Man on Fire -> the Man on Fire began a rampage, destroying the facility and heading towards Ishmael, thanks to Mantis knowing his location -> Skull Face becomes aware of this, and due to his involvement in Operation Snake Eater he concludes the Man on Fire would be after Big Boss -> he has XOF pursue to find Big Boss -> Ocelot became aware of this chain of events as it unfolded, and expedited the operation taking place in Cyprus to make sure Ahab would awake before XOF and the Man on Fire's arrival.

I'm pretty sure that's the goings on. Also worth noting that XOF and Cipher are separate entities at this point with different goals-Zero actually orchestrated Ahab's creation while Ishmael was in a coma to protect him from XOF and Skull Face.
