The overwhelming desire not to upset Lou is such a great game mechanic, honestly. It really makes me think twice before chucking myself off cliffs or running into danger.

Don’t recommend trying to soothe him in the middle of BT boss battle though

Lou's cries was definitely a FULL STOP for me, and would always be the first thing I would take care of. EVEN in a boss fight. But you know, if you ever get bored of the boss fight. Just walk out of there like no issue.
