I feel the same way when I played through the game. The first game had a bit more of a coherent storyline, I think. And honestly, I'm not sure how I feel that they have another soldier character doing the same bit in the first game. But the overall gameplay for me is a lot more fun this time around. Especially having everything set up for easy transport. I remember accidentally running over a porter because the game forced me to focus on a BT lol
