I considered Charlie Kirk to be a political enemy, and said some pretty nasty things about him while he was alive. Any decent person would reconsider those things when they see him shot dead. If you don't, you've made yourself a spiritual cripple. The world is going to be a much worse place if we only have compassion for those who share our political identity. Maybe that's why Jesus told us to love our enemy.
It looks like Charlie was beginning to change his mind on the Israel issue, as is the west as a whole. Perhaps if leftists didn't use overly dramatic language for every issue they discuss, people would have come around sooner. It's a crying wolf type situation. People aren't going to listen if you call everything "fascist" this and "genocide" that for decades. Save the hysterical language for the actual genocide, and maybe fewer children would be dead right now.
