Any direct contact between Snake and the guards will destroy the film reel. Any damage done to the guard will destroy the film reel. Distractions such as books are fine. They can touch Snake while he's using a fake death pill and it will not destroy the film reel. Be careful with where you hold them up - if you cannot maneuver Snake in front of them to point the weapon at their head or crotch without bumping into them, don't try it. One little bump and you've lost.

Whoever was responsible for the Volgin boss battle? A+ . The CQC animations are varied, impactful, cinematic. Feels a little bit like the context sensitive moves that were available against the SKULLS or maybe something out of Revengeance (but grounded). I imagine if I used ranged weapons, the fight would have been too easy like most of the others. But this feels so much more satisfying to do hand to hand now. Great stuff. Expecting even more of this against The Boss.

The Fear was surprisingly easy to beat. I mean I guess I figured he'd be a little easier but like with Ocelot I finished it within probably about a minute on my first try, but I thought this one would be tougher given he's generally been annoying for me in MGS3. I guess a lot of that is down to not only the camera but the detail of the game which makes it far easier to pick him out and to know when to move, the only time he hit me was with a grenade.
Perhaps I ought to keep in mind that the last time I played MGS3 was on the Vita though, which meant I've gone from one of the most awkward and difficult ways of playing this game to one where I have more freedom and control than ever.

I used to think that morality was relative. Then I discovered that someone not only put a film can soldier in the Eva escort section, but one that resists holdups. Now I know that true evil exists in this world.
