My favorite thing about Snake Eater was ultimately the fact that the game did at least attempt to promote the concept of patriotism, rather than infer the good guys aren't patriotic at all (even if I felt The Boss wasn't handled all that well ultimately). Also it being one of the few games by Kojima to explicitly depict the Communists as explicit, pure evil bad guys (MGS2 and Peace Walker had them being the lesser of two evils, MGS4 had you working with a Communist group in Act 2, and MGSV either had you directly working alongside Communists in Africa, or treating the Soviets more like respectable enemies compared to the Americans), even referencing Katyn.

Hopefully, I at least managed to win CalorieMates, since that was what I was actually aiming for (I'd rather play Delta on the Nintendo Switch/2, maybe Steam as well).
