I think the thing that proves it's bullshit is that while human photosynthesis has been established as canon in the MGS Universe (The End), even an old man who is basically dead manages it while dressed in army fatigues.

Came here to say the same as this. There are lots of supernatural elements to the MGS series but the End manages to photosynthesise through full army fatigues. He’s basically a skeleton so obviously he can’t be running around butt naked in the woods because he’s not a big beautiful booby woman.

But now I think about it, could you imagine how much more terrifying that boss fight would be if the End was in a bikini?? 

I should petition this for the remake, accurate to the canon!
