||WHAT ARE ORGANIZATIONS||
Organizations are groups that members may choose to join. They function as forum "teams" that members can fly the colours of. After joining an organization you will display their button in your post bit and will gain access to its Mother Base topic where you can chat with your fellow org members. Your activity around the forum will then contribute to your organization's Power Ranking which is updated monthly.

||WHY TO JOIN AN ORGANIZATION||
The organization scene encourages a feeling of camaraderie towards members in the same org as you as well as some friendly rivalry with members of other orgs. Members of organizations may like to collaborate and create custom graphics, events, or promotional material to show off around the forum and convince others to join, or they may keep an eye on new members in an attempt to invite promising newbies to join their org. Occasionally there will also be staff run competitions or events where the organizations will compete against one another to win glory. How much you engage with your org is entirely up to you. Joining an org does not make you obligated to take part in anything extra. It's just a bit of fun, really.

||THE ORGANIZATIONS||
There are three forum organizations members can choose from.
They are Pieuvre Armement, Praying Mantis, and Raven Sword.

One day, if the forum grows big enough, members may be able to create their own organizations.

||HOW TO JOIN||
There are no entry requirements to join an organization, simply decide which you like best and join.
To do this go to User CP>Miscellaneous>Group Membership>And then select "Join Group" on the org you wish to join.
Once you have put in your request to join it will be approved by an admin once they see it. If it's taking a while and you think it's been missed, please PM an admin.

||EARNING CODENAMES||
While using the forum you may receive an alert and a PM telling you you’ve earned a codename. Members can earn codenames through engaging in the forum in various ways, such as posting, winning a giveaway, or becoming a Philanthropy Member.
You can see a list of available codenames on the codenames page.
Much like earning them in the Metal Gear series the methods for unlocking a codename are not publicised. Only members that earn a codename will know how it is earned, though the message may not reveal the exact conditions that must be met.
Members are welcome to share this information and help others to earn more codenames, or to speculate on the conditions to unlock a codename no member has unlocked yet. Clicking a codename will show all the members that have earned it. If there’s one you want you could try asking a member who has it already how they got it…but maybe they like being the only one with that particular codename! If you’ve got it then flaunt it, which leads onto…

||SELECTING A CODENAME||
When you earn a new codename it will automatically be displayed on your profile as well as in your postbit. You are able to hide your codenames and change their display order.
You can do this from the My Codenames page.
Untick the codenames you want hidden and type the display order of each codename to rearrange them. Make sure to click “Update Codenames” to save your changes.
The codename at the top of your list of visible codenames will be the one that is displayed in your postbit.
An easy way to select your displayed codename is to change its Display Order to “0”.
Should you wish to display no codename, simply disable all of them from the My Codenames page.
