Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - NateDog - 09-04-2026 Metal Gear Solid Movie in the Works Quote:Lipovsky and Stein’s newly-launched company, Wonderlab, will develop films for the duo to direct and original projects that they will produce for other directors. The focus is creating wildly fun, commercial, character-driven, genre-bending films. They are currently meeting potential executives to help lead the company. This sounds kind of terrible and I assume that, like every other attempt, this will go nowhere. RE: Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - Jassassino - 09-04-2026 Personally thought Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Oscar Isaac's upcoming MGS movie looked and sounded tonally good from discussion and concept art. Shame we won't see that, hope this is decent. RE: Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - Null - 09-04-2026 lol i mean wtf The only time I got remotely excited about this movie is when Oscar Issac was attached Every other version I've heard being tabled has sounded horrendous RE: Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - NateDog - 09-04-2026 (09-04-2026, 09:18 PM)Null Wrote: lol i mean wtf Unfortunately the appetite for video-game movie/TV adaptations is at an all-time high right now which means we'll probably get loads of extra shite ones. RE: Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - DANMATUS - 10-04-2026 Not buying this until we got an actual trailer. RE: Metal Gear Solid movie in the Works From ‘Final Destination’ Duo - Dirty Duck - 10-04-2026 I was never especially wedded to Oscar Isaac as Snake I won't lie. I do find how these kinds of projects work kind of strange. What about Kong: Skull Island made Vogt-Roberts seem like the guy to do an MGS film? There's no director who's done a film with a similar vibe to MGS they could find? |
