Seems like everyone in OH hated him (and had evidence of some nasty personal comments or general attitude) and wanted Sorrido to get it, a lot in and out of OH said him or Gary should have gotten it.

Gary and Sor both definitely prime candidates for admins, they’d have both been great. I remember Jaron being pretty divisive.

I didn't know him as much as the rest of you having only been there since 08 but I do remember him being abrasive in his moderation and comments. Ewok had a list of times he called her or people in general "cunts" and referred to her as Sor's "fuckbuddy" too. There was also a thing about Jaron clearing his own warnings from his account but his argument was that anyone promoted to staff was told to do it.

I remember the "war" (Granin basically insulting everyone every time he was on) but thought GRU was already set up by that point. Maybe I'm wrong and they appeared around the time it was going on.

From what I recall the org war was when FH started building up members again, GRU didn’t exist yet as Oz was one of those newer members (like me!)

Unsure if GRU was a direct result of it, but I seem to remember it wasn’t too long after that org war mentality came back that Oz and Kestrel made GRU, which definitely contributed to them being the easy target.
