By all accounts, we simply don't rate him. We didn't approach him when Klopp handed in his notice, and we haven't approached him now whilst we're playing the worst football we've played all century and the majority of the fanbase is baying for Slot's dismissal. He wasn't going to sit on his hands forever, he was going to go find work eventually. Alonso going is a kick in the teeth, but there are others out there that I'd take over Slot. The top 4 with the bookies at the minutes are Luis Enrique, Julian Nagelsmann, Sebastien Hoeness and Andoni Iraola, and I would happily take any of them. That or he wants to leave before Carrick is announced as permanent manager the coward. Yeah but I hate Arsenal and I hate their utterly horrendous way of playing football. I don't think any young talented manager should be going there.(18-05-2026, 01:39 PM)Null Wrote:(17-05-2026, 10:08 PM)Bread Wrote: So Xabi is joining Chelsea. RE: Football Chat - Wayno - 19-05-2026 Holy hell Southampton actually thrown out of the Championship Playoffs. Some football authorities do take cheating seriously. Unacceptable to not be there to support the team in a monumental last gsme of the season, or, in a world Cup year it's acceptable to trust his rehab back in his home country rather than the club's physios? Also that England team is dog shit and I'm glad that A. I'm not patriotic and B. Not watching it just like Qatar RE: Football Chat - Null - 22-05-2026 yeah no he's pissed me off now lol ive gone to bat for him so many times. he's a world class defender but obviously this is unacceptable. RE: Football Chat - Blueblob - 25-05-2026 Thought's on Tuchel's squad? I see an early England exit, some strange choices in the lineup. Weirdly last time I went back home I was in sports shop that had a huge section promoting USA's team but every single jersey was Pulisic, I know he's our best player but the squad ain't that bad. West Ham getting relegated does sadly fuck up the UkKMLB games since they have them at their stadium, might not be able to do it now that they have a championship schedule RE: Football Chat - Bread - 25-05-2026 (25-05-2026, 01:52 AM)Blueblob Wrote: Thought's on Tuchel's squad? I'd have taken Maguire, Hall and Gibbs-White personally over Stones, Burn and Eze but I think it's been a massive overreaction overall. Foden and Palmer have had really poor seasons and have missed out on merit. I'm not as high on Wharton as a lot of other people are (and I don't particularly want Liverpool splashing out for him) and Trent missing out is absolutely hilarious. |
