I enjoyed Violet definitely and I'm happy that they're exploring new ways of keeping the games fresh. The Herba Mystica battles against the Titan Pokemon have been some of the more memorable fights I've had in Pokemon.

What's everyone's thoughts on Legends: ZA? Apparently they're changing the battle system to real time instead of turn based which should be interesting to see, could be loads of fun if done right.

I've been tempted by CotL too but similarly don't really gel with the genre.

Been playing a looot of FFXIV lately. Bit worried I'm overdoing it in fact and won't fully enjoy Clair Obscur Expedition 33 when it comes out so I might try peel away from it in a week or so. Have a habit of going from one (J)RPG straight into another and it often leaves me feeling a little burned out. Probably still a ways off finishing ARR anyway because I've gotten into a pattern of completing every sidequest I find when the main story brings me to a new area but we'll see how it goes.

Personally find CotL to be more cult management/base building than RL to be honest.

My thing was Disciplines of the Land. I’d spend evenings just gathering materials and crafting while having something like Sailor Moon on in the background that wouldn’t require my full attention. Really enjoyed it.

I haven't done anything like this yet, most I've done was progress to Dragoon from the Lancer class. I've liked the idea of doing some of these other things but figure I'm best to just keep going and leave that until later if I want to do it then. I'll end up bogging myself down with too much to do and go nowhere otherwise. Sometimes I hate how my mind works with games.

Tbf I’m pretty good at goldsmithery and got good with the intention of making stuff for fellow players before the people I was playing with fucked off to a Japanese server when they moved to Japan. It may be nice to be able to make some shit that’s good for whatever level you are at some point lol

Gonna have to add you guys to my cult now.

Been tempted by Cult of the Lamb for a while now, but I don't particularly like Roguelikes. Like, I thought Hades was fine but I stopped playing it pretty quickly.

Would you still recommend it, or would it not be capable of changing my mind if I don't like the genre?

It´s a roguelike yeah, but very different to Hades. Building your cult/community and keeping them alive is what I´m doing like 80% of the time. I´m not sure if this one is for you but it´s cute, fun to play and has great humor.

Wayno Haha, that is hilarious and spot on. Never seen it before. I saw there are comics as well.

I really want to play this, but I'm far too hyped for Ghost of Yotei and I don't think I have it in me to play 2 open world games set in Feudal Japan in the same year.
