This is so real but if anybody ever insults Dover I really don't have a leg to stand on because it's all valid criticism.
Try being from Brum.

It's worse being from the black country because it's rare we get direct insults. We just get lumbered in with Brum which is arguably worse than anything they could say.

Fluxe as long as I've known you, I knew you were from the UK, but I've realized i don't know much else about you.

Like if I met you in real life and you weren't a badger I think a little bit of magic would be gone from the world.

He's starting at the source and ending in London. Specifically...

uhh... pulls out Google Maps

Ending in Sheerness. Doing the whole thing either wading through it or kayaking.

Damn I was only hating on the river, London is great it’s where I get up to shenanigans. Didn’t mean to incite location war.

That said, Home Counties rise up

Just spent almost 5 hours on one gaming session apart from a quick bathroom and sugar break. We're so back

Don't worry, I am really a badger... a Brummie badger... the worst kind.

Feel like we need a forum meetup at some point. Did a few waaaaay back in the day and they were good fun.

I remember meeting Brian (the_cobbinator) when he was over from the US as well -- over 15 years ago now which makes me feel a bit sick. The main thing I remember from that is that he really didn't understand me saying colloquially 'you what?' instead of 'pardon'... and then him also telling me I sound like a Harry Potter extra. I never emotionally recovered from that.

I always remember Roy taking umbrage with anyone talking about "the British accent". Also remember him calling Harry Potter a cunt too so maybe there's something in that.

Same, the road I live on is literally the border. I'm in Wales, and my neighbours across the street are in England, I'm getting fucking cultural whiplash every day.

A lot of Americans seem to think that "British" is literally either cockney geezer or RP, so I get why it'd be infuriating. If someone tried to do an impression of me and then sounded like Jacob Rees-Mogg, I'd probably lose my shit too.
