RE: Organization Chat - black king - 31-08-2026

Roger had an idea in the shoutbox, so I figured I'd try. It's looking up your old forum MGSF username with mgsforums after it and going into AI mode.

Quote:
"black king" is a well-known community member and longtime user on MGSForums.com, a popular fan forum dedicated to the Metal Gear Solid franchise. [1, 2]
He has a prominent history on the site, notably authoring the community's Organization FAQ in the recruitment section and even having a dedicated, multi-page community Q&A thread titled "Ask Black King". [1, 2]

Are you looking for a specific post made by this user, or trying to track down a particular discussion thread on the forums? Let me know what you need and I can help you find it.

I asked who some other established members were.

The most recognizable and established names from the forum's history include:

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Forum Leadership & Moderation Team
  • Solidus: The primary owner and administrator of the forum. He oversaw major layout choices, design updates, and platform decisions.
  • Helikaon: One of the earliest and most dedicated staff members who served as a primary moderator during the forum's peak years.
  • BosaBoss: Another key figure who climbed the ranks to join the official moderation team and maintain community order. [

โœ๏ธ Notable Community Members
  • Dirty Duck: A prominent user and admin-level presence who managed major platform engagements, including official game giveaways like the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection events. [1]
  • JC87: A well-known community creative who historically collaborated directly with Solidus to design custom site assets and user button graphics. [

  • PrecooledCarrot: A highly active user famously recognized in the MGSV: Ground Zeroes community for managing major gameplay tracking threads, such as the Official Ghost Run leaderboard. [1]

Are you trying to remember a member from a specific era of the forum, or are you looking for someone who specialized in lore theories or fan art? Let me know and I can help narrow down the name!

I have no idea who PrecooledCarrot is. Also, we had eras? Doing it before Taylor Swift made it cool Coolย So of course I asked what eras it knew about in MGSF and:

The life of the forum is defined by these core eras:

๐Ÿ“ˆ 1. The Inception & Golden Era (2004 โ€“ 2008)
  • The Launch (2004): Founded during the massive hype cycle for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
  • The Cultural Peak: Driven by the intense anticipation for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, this era saw maximum active user counts. The board became a hub for deep lore breakdowns, "Wisemen's Committee" theories, and highly active fan-art/signatures sub-forums. [1,

๐ŸŽฎ 2. The Spin-Off & Portable Era (2008 โ€“ 2012)
  • Expanding Lore: Following the conclusion of Solid Snake's story, the forum adapted to analyze the lore of MGS: Portable Ops and MGS: Peace Walker. [1]
  • The Rise of MGO: The community shifted heavily toward tracking competitive gameplay and hosting clan recruitment for Metal Gear Online 2. [1]

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ 3. The Phantom Pain & "Zetaboards" Transition (2013 โ€“ 2015)
  • The Hype Machine: The community rallied fiercely for MGSV: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. This era birthed mega-threads like the iconic Ghost Run leaderboards. [1, 2]
  • The Decline Begins: Following the highly publicized split between Hideo Kojima and Konami, the realization that no new mainline games were coming hit the community hard. [
    from r/metalgearsolid
    ]

๐Ÿ“‰ 4. The Migration & Closure (2016 โ€“ 2019)
  • The Platform Shift: Forum activity plummeted as users naturally migrated to social spaces like Facebook and WhatsApp.
  • The Final Blow: The forum's hosting platform, Zetaboards, was acquired and forced into a mandatory overhaul by Tapatalk. The resulting technical layout changes broke the community's traditional formatting, causing the core remaining userbase to leave. [,
    from r/metalgearsolid
    ]

๐Ÿ”„ 5. The Preservation & Revival Era (2023 โ€“ Present)
  • The Nostalgia Comeback: In 2023, a group of dedicated legacy members and preservationists launched a revival of MGSForums to restore the classic community space. [
    from r/metalgearsolid
    ]
  • Modern Engagement: The active board hosts community giveaways and discussion threads centering around modern releases, like the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection volumes. [1]

Which of these eras matches the time you spent browsing or posting on the boards? If you are trying to remember a specific theory or forum event from one of these times, let me know!

I could have fun with this. Big Grin

Honestly I followed a guide to go into the back-end of Google Chrome and turn off the Google AI ages ago on my PC and laptop. Saved my sanity more than once I'm sure.

Chilling in a park before going to play Clocktower and there's a half dozen or so people battling Beyblades. I wish I understand the language they spoke so I could know what they were talking about.

I never got into Beyblades. I know it had a TV show. My social game back in the day was Yugioh. In college in turned into Magic the Gathering.

RE: Organization Chat - Jassassino - 02-09-2026

Beyblades was so fun at school. We used to battle beyblades in this small alcove of a storage room our school had and the fear you had when somebody's knock-off battery powered beyblade ripped against the jagged concrete was real.

RE: Organization Chat - Dirty Duck - 06-09-2026

Just had somebody rudely tell me I was "way too fucking close" while queuing for the park toilets.

I was like...bro......just step forward?
