DK is notoriously steezy af! But yeah it feels like they’re pushing him into the limelight more than they have in a LONG time. I feel like 2D platformers get less attention than 3D ones for some reason and he’s mainly had 2D entries in the past few decades.

Don't suppose anybody gave the Drag x Drive beta thing a go over the weekend? I wanted to but didn't manage to be indoors for it.

I like the look and concept of it as a game but I'd like to have tried it before having to part with any cash for it.

Triple posting cause I guess only 3 of us own a Switch 2

The Kirby Air Riders direct happened today (I had no idea until it was already happening)
It looks really good! It’s funny how much modern Smash UI is in Sakurai’s other games. I’m glad he’s getting to work on a non-Smash game because this game seems like it will be a lot of fun with friends. I appreciate all the ways it seems very different to Mario Kart (and the way Sakurai acknowledges it being Mario Kart at the same time lol)

Seeing people wigging out about Elden Ring having pretty bad performance in handheld. Hope it just functions as a bit of a proving ground for Fromsoft to understand how to properly optimise for Switch 2 by the time Duskbloods drops, would be a shame for something with such potential like that to fall victim to another FPS lock ala Bloodborne.

Is it bad or like permanent Blighttown bad?

Luckily I don't think anything can be Blighttown bad and get past the gate anymore lmao but it supposedly suffers frequent drops, especially in boss encounters and some of the busiest areas of the game.

Just hoping Duskbloods is good and we maybe get news about it today.

Nintendo charging $70 for a Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 bundle lmao, these guys have no shame.

This is what I’m dying for! Honestly thought it would be announced during the direct - but all we got was Pokemon version. 😂

Excited for Pokemon ZA though - looks quite the unique take on the series.
