THE RULES OF A MAFIA GAME:
#1 There are only 2 groups of players: Members and Mods. The Game Master hosts and administrates the game.
#2 The Town wins by killing all Mafia players. The Mafia wins by outnumbering the Town players.
#3 The game has 2 alternating phases: Day and Night
- During the Day, ALL players meet up in the game thread to discuss and vote which one they should kill. The player who has more than 50% of the votes is Lynched and is out of the game.
- During the Night, Mafia players meet up secretly to decide which Citizen player they should kill. The player who is killed by the Mafia is Murdered and is out of the game.
- NO PLAYERS are allowed to post in the game thread during Night.
- Players with special roles can peform certain actions, depending on the current phase of the game.
#4 During the Day, you must vote to lynch someone. When you vote, you must present it bolded and in all-caps: LYNCH Novitch. You may also choose to vote NO LYNCH to abstain.
#5 The game has several special roles, both for Innocent and Mafia. It's important to know the possible roles to have an idea of what others can do.

MEMBERS — TOWN:
1. ARAGORN — THE MAN IN THE CARAVAN
A mysterious man who lives in a caravan deep in the forest. During one of his journeys, he discovered an old dog tag bearing the name NOVITCH.
- While secretly possessing Novitch's dog tag, Aragorn's vote counts as 3 votes.
- However, he requires one fewer vote than normal to be eliminated by lynching.
- He may publicly reveal himself as Aragorn at any point during the day.
- If he reveals himself, he permanently loses the dog tag and its powers. His vote returns to counting as one, and his lynch threshold returns to normal.
2. WEAVO — THE REPAIRMAN
A mechanical man who spends his time smoking cigarettes near the sea. His robotic body may be falling apart, but he knows how to bring others back from the dead.
- Can revive any player who dies, regardless of how they died.
- Can revive players killed at night or eliminated during the day.
- Cannot revive himself.
- The revived player returns with their original role and abilities.
- Can successfully revive only one player per game.
3. STARSCHWAR — THE GENERAL
A military commander who once led countless operations. His green trench coat and beret are symbols of authority.
- Every night, chooses one player to investigate.
- Learns whether that player belongs to the Mods or the Members.
4. ANNOYING PRICK — THE TRICKSTER
An athletic troublemaker wearing a Bugs Bunny mask. Nobody knows whether he's genuinely helping the community or just enjoying the chaos.
- Once per game, can cause the entire forum to descend into confusion.
- During that night, all other players' abilities are blocked, including the Mods' collective kill.
- His ability cannot be blocked.
5. ROY — THE ROOFTOP RUNNER
A strange, agile kid with cat ears and legs who jumps between rooftops. He can travel across the forum faster than anyone else.
- Every night, chooses one player to send a private message to.
- The chosen player receives the message and may reply with one message.
- Roy learns the exact content of their reply.
- Roy does not automatically learn the player's role.
6. AGENT — THE HITMAN
A professional assassin who never misses his target. He has a reputation for being efficient, silent, and extremely dangerous.
- Has a single-use gun.
- During the day, can publicly shoot one player, immediately killing them.
- The moment Agent fires his gun, the current day phase ends immediately.
- The shot is consumed whether successful or not.
7. MR. TIBBS — THE CHEF
The beloved cook of the old community. He believes every problem can be solved with a good meal and a little patience.
- Every night, chooses one player to prepare a special meal for.
- That player becomes immune to night-time role-blocking, investigative actions for that night and collective kills.
8. ROGER — THE OBSERVER
A mysterious figure who hides in plain sight. He watches everyone, notices every movement, and rarely reveals what he knows.
- Every night, chooses one player to observe.
- Learns everyone who visits that player during the night, including the Mods if they attempt to kill them.
MODS — MAFIA:
9. NULL — THE ORIGINAL ADMINISTRATOR
The creator of the original MGSF. He built the forum from nothing, and although he rarely interferes directly, he still decides who carries out the dirty work.
- Every night, Null chooses which Mod will carry out the Mods' collective kill.
- The selected Mod performs the kill.
- Null has no additional night abilities.
10. DIRTY DUCK — THE NEW ADMINISTRATOR
The creator of the new MGSF. A harmless-looking duck doll hiding a rather questionable agenda.

- Once per game, can disguise one Mod as a Member for that night.
- Investigations against that Mod will identify them as a Member.
11. BLACK KING — THE FORMER MODERATOR
Once a moderator of the original MGSF. He knows the old rules, the old members, and exactly how to manipulate the game. His black chess king represents his authority over the board.
- Every night, participates in the Mods' collective kill.
- Once per game, can issue a royal decree against one player.
- That player's vote will not count during the following day's voting phase.
- The target is not informed of the decree.
PROLOGUE:
Once upon a time, there was a place called MGSF. A humble Metal Gear Solid forum where friendships were made, arguments were endless, and people took fictional military conspiracies far more seriously than their actual lives.
Years have passed. The old members have grown older, supposedly wiser, and somehow even more dysfunctional. Now they’ve reunited, along with a few familiar moderators, to settle an important question: Who really owns MGSF?
Three moderators. Eight members. One game of betrayal.
Welcome back to MGSF. Please keep the arguments civil. The moderators are armed.
