Sports games didn't do great. Racing i think did the best out of them.

And that one vote will be me, PES 6 is the best footy game of all time and the young'uns who are addicted to Ultimate Team are not experiencing the same joy I experienced back in the day.
And Yakuza should absolutely be in this, there's about a hundred games in the franchise and all of them are excellent.

And for the record, here's how each series did vote wise.
So what did we learn from all this?
- We do in fact seem to like MGS the most....barely. We may want to make a Resident Evil theme for the forum with how close it was.
- Crash is more popular than Spyro, Sonic, and Mario...and I'm pretty sure was the most popular series by a Western dev.
- Sports games weren't all that popular unless you count fighting games as sports games instead of their own genre.
- Sorry to @Agent as Hitman came in the middle of the pack.
- I'm eagerly awaiting @Aragorn to criticize Max Payne's position and tell us all that our tastes are crap.
- I'm wondering if recency bias may have played a small role, as RE and Pokemon both had releases recently.

Having MGS in these low key defeats the point because the vast majority will vote MGS. Horrible taste all around folks well done
