If this is now an unpopular take thread, I have one. I don't usually have hot takes when it comes to gaming, so this is special.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is not only the best Deus Ex game, but probably the best game ever made.

No one is talking about it. Yes, I know the plot is bad and the ending is yadayadayada. Played through the main Deus Ex games recently and Mankind Divided holds up best. HR is actually kind of bad tbh and the og completely shits the bed after the halfway point.

I imagine if I continue posting on this forum, I'll probably have the lowest like-to-post-count of all time. Y'all just aren't ready.
Yeah I might just change the thread title to “unpopular takes”.

I do love Mankind Divided though.
If we're switching it up to that, then...

Baldur's Gate 3 was an immensely disappointing clusterfuck of a game with little to no allowance of ingenuity in handling complex situations. New Vegas remains supreme in this regard, and although I had fun, I wouldn't clamour to call it one of the greatest RPGs of all time, because it ain't.
I’m deeply skeptical of you now Jass due to previous takes but I haven’t played BG3 yet

It’s pretty crazy that they got away with a totally broken third act. They bet on people not getting there in time before they patched it and it seems to have worked
