Popped my first ever Platinum on my main account yesterday! Mass Effect 1, from the Legendary Edition. I'm gonna do all three, but I'm thinking an Assassin's Creed game will be next, maybe 3 or Syndicate.

But ME1 was a super easy, and super satisfying, Platinum. Basically just "do everything in the game, use your powers".

I'm going to wait on finishing my Clair Obscur platinum until the free update arrives I think.

Kind of wish I'd played Expedition 33 on Playstation rather than Gamepass. 1000g doesn't give me the same endorphin rush as that platinum ding.

Cheers! Wasn't expecting such a visceral and physical rush when it popped, haha. I'm kinda getting into Trophy hunting in general, thanks to YouTube mainly. But it's also because I've built up a hell of a backlog, and I've always been a completionist at heart.

Depends on the game; if it's something I'm really into then yes.

- What's a common trophy trope that'll actively dissuade you from chasing the platinum?

Anything involving online play or MTX.

- What's the hardest/proudest platinum in your collection?

I've got plats for Fallout 3 and 4. Fallout 4 was a fucking nightmare due to one of them being all settlements being happy. All the Sony Spider-Man games, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Persona 5 Royal, Aegis Rim, Robocop: Rogue City (And Unfinished Business), Far Cry 3 & F1 Manager 22. I'll probably hit the plat for Persona 3: Reload and Metaphor when I get round to replays; also do need to finish the trophy sets for Ghost of Tsushima, Detroit: Become Human (at 97%) and ACII if I ever do a replay on PS3. The bloody feathers aha.

AC2 was my first platinum. I'd already gotten most of the trophies on my nephew's account before realising AC2 doesn't support save transfers (stupid) and doing it all again on my own PS3. The platinum popped in the wee hours of the morning on a school night iirc. The best time for such a thing!

I want that one so badly because AC2 is one of my favourite games of all time, but I just can't do all those feathers again, haha.
