Probably her best track from probably her best album.
Been re-listening to Oasis live at the iTunes festival in 2009. It was a bonus disc on the initial release of 'Time Flies...', I still think that it's last great Oasis gig before the split. Liam is about to go to war with the fans, small venue...it just sounds....so sharp. Remember seeing them on that 09 tour and I don't have fond memories from the barrier (the definition of underwhelming, especially given how much hype 17/18 year old me had put into it).
People might think that my autistic fixation is Jesus Christ, but it's actually John Wick.
Green Day were my absolute favourite band when I was young. First band I saw live in 2008. First CD I bought was American Idiot and I bought the rest of their catalogue over the course of a year whenever I had enough money to get a CD at HMV. They sort of fell off quite hard and fast for me and I stopped listening to them anywhere near as much. I still listen to their older stuff every now and then and this song is far and away the one that brings back that feeling I used to have whenever I'd listen to them at the start of secondary school. Emotions that I wasn't sure I understood fully back then. Emotions that I maybe still don't understand fully now.
It's fookin' spookin' season, comrades! Where's your songs?
