So after some obstacles I finally managed to send out an email in the hopes of directing members of the old site here.
If you’re from MGSF and you’re reading this it’s good to have you back! You can use this thread for a brief hello and to say what your username was on the old boards if it’s changed but please do
post an introduction thread in the Member Announcements forum to reintroduce yourselves!
It might have been a while since some of us have used a forum like this so if you have any questions or suggestions make a post in the
relevant forum and someone will be happy to help.
Also many old members won’t have seen the email as it will have gone to their junk. If you’re still in touch with any old heads on anything, Twitter, PSN, Steam, send them a link and bring them back!

Not gonna lie, I think I remember making MGS themed banners back when I was a kid for a forum tag... it must have been for MGSF forums but I honestly can't remember. Are the old forums up/archived? I'd love to see the dumb shit I must have said. Thanks for the pleasant surprise -- coincidentally I'm going on a two weeks off rotation starting next week and I'm absolutely spending most of it playing Delta over and over.

The old boards are up but the graphics were butchered when it got bought out by TapaTalk.
What year were you making bits? WayBackMachine may reveal your gfx yet

here that I managed to find.
I was still obsessed with CSS and was always messing around with PS for spray tags, so this would have been '05-'08. I wasn't very talented and only made sigs for myself but still cool to see those digital relics.
My memory has faded, but I was called back via that email. I would have posted under this handle, but I cannot remember how active I was back in the day. I've been an MGS fan for over 20 years - I spent what little free time I had in most of 2004 watching Snake Eater trailers, rather than playing games I did own. Delta will not be perfect - nothing is - but I expect to enjoy myself very much.
I sent out a few messages on PSN. I have a few old users on there. Ef9 wasn't interested, still waiting on others.
